After graduating from the University of Maine, Matt began his Insurance Career in 1997 as an Underwriting Assistant with Acadia. Soon after Matt was hired, he was promoted to Recreational and Commercial Underwriter. Matt has a wealth of knowledge in commercial Hull and P&I, Marine Liabilities, Excess Maine Liabilities, Marine Contractors and Marina/Yacht Club package business, and managed two large books of charter/fishing vessels.

With his 25 plus years of experience in the Maritime Insurance Industry as an Account Executive, Underwriter, and Commercial Risk Analyst, Matt is a key component to the retention and growth of servicing both the Commercial Marine and Renewal Book of Business here at Lucantha. Matt’s expertise and assiduous nature has helped Lucantha grow into a leading Brokerage in the Commercial Marine Industry.
